The Amrapali Magazine launches its First Print at New Delhi amidst dignified gathering of Artistes and Scholars

Amrapali Magazine, a new cultural and creative publication dedicated to India’s rich artistic heritage and contemporary creative voices, was formally launched on January 29 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event organised in collaboration with the India Habitat Centre's Bharat Bodh Kendra, unfurled the aesthetics of Indian arts, culture and heritage. The launch marked an important moment in the country’s evolving creative discourse, bringing together eminent artistes, scholars, academicians, and thought leaders from across disciplines.

The Amrapali Magazine is conceptualised and curated under the leadership of Dr. Pranaame Bhagawati, whose vision and scholarly engagement form the intellectual foundation of Amrapali. Dr. Bhagawati’s contribution lies in shaping the magazine as a platform that bridges traditional knowledge systems with contemporary creative practices, while foregrounding the role of artists and cultural practitioners in nation-building. The evening was gracefully welcomed by Ms. Wamiel Pranaame Kashyap, Student Head of the magazine and Podcaster of The Bella Wamiel Show.


The highlight of the event was an insightful talk on “India’s Creative Economy Boom through the Rise of Artpreneurs”, which explored the growing intersection of art, culture, entrepreneurship, and economic development in India.
